1. Software & driver installation


To reduce our consumption of single-use plastics, we no longer supply software CDs.
Both the multiecuscan software and the USB drivers (if required), can be downloaded for free from the links below:
(Our Bluetooth wireless bundles do not require the USB drivers).

2. Software activation

If bought for a 2017 or newer vehicle,
click here BEFORE you activate the software license!

To activate the software you need 2 pieces of information:

Your Promo Code

This is a pre-paid token that allows you to activate a license key for no additional charge.
If you bought a bundle from us, this will be highlighted on the cover sheet of the printed setup guide:
(If you bought only a license key, this will have been emailed to you).

Your Hardware Key

This a code generated by the software which is unique to the PC it is installed upon.
To find your hardware key, install the software, open it, then click the blue 'Register' button in the bottom-left corner.
The Registration window will then open, showing your Hardware Key:

Once you have both codes you need to generate a license key on the MultiECUScan Distributor License Activation page:
(We would recommend copying and pasting the Hardware Key, as if you enter this incorrectly, the license key generated will be invalid).

MultiECUScan will then email a license key to you (check your spam/junk folders!)

Copy and paste the license key from the email into the License Key box in the software.

The MultiECUScan software will then close and re-open in Registered mode.
