So, I bought MultiECUScan from Gendan for a 4WD 1.9D Sedici then used it for a 4WD 2.0D SX4 until March of this year (2024). With it, I have done all the servicing except routine cam belt replacements on both cars. Over many years with updates, it must have saved me thousands of pounds. In addition to Gendan, the MultiECUScan people have always been very helpful when I have had to move the package onto a new laptop and reregister it. I put the SX4 up for sale in March. After the first potential buyer had road tested the car, I hooked up MultiECUScan to show him that there were no fault codes. He bought it immediately and didnt quibble over the price.

Great diagnostic software and service, thumbs up all round.
Had an intermittent error with the transmission on my automatic Abarth 595, my concern was that it was the gearbox. Tried reading the codes on various PC and android tools using a generic OBD II bluetooth reader, absolutely no luck with that.
Thought Id give the MultiECUScan package a go, it gets very good feedback on lots of abarth and fiat forums. Ordered, and it arrived the next day with standard delivery. Plugged in, lots of historic errors which had never been cleared (result of a weak battery Id replaced a couple of years ago). This is good progress, nothing else had picked these up. Cleared those errors, and did a quick drive to replicate the error I previously had. The software picked up this error straight away, and pointed to the brake light switch. Ok, so thats interesting, take out that switch clean it up a bit and still have the same issue. However, the actual issue is a very poor fix to a previously broken wire its one of the brake wires connecting to switch. Someone had taped up the 2 pieces, and the recent hot weather had probably loosened this connection, which was therefore was presumably shorting the connection intermittently. Fixed the wire by splicing the broken wire with some electrical connectors, its feeling better, no more errors everything looks good.
Absolutely brilliant piece of software, the tool has paid for itself for just this fix. Im absolutely not a mechanic, but with a bit of knowledge from this tool some guides on the internet I can see this will help me out with most simple things that go wrong. It should also help me narrow down issues if I do have to resort to going to a garage, which is always helpful.

What a great purchase, I bought this to investigate fault on my Fiat Ducato 2.3 Euro 6 where I knew the dpf was full and revs were restricted, I had also recently replaced the O2 sensor but the fault persisted. I had used my icarsoft CR Pro to diagnose but it couldnt di more than throw up generic codes that were no help as some related to a part that was never fitted. I took it to a garage that assured me they could sort out Fiat issue with there professional equipment, well they couldnt (to be fair they didnt charge me).
I bought the plus version of this for the enthusiast, more in hope to identify the underlying issue rather than expecting of sorting it myself. I followed the instructions carefully to install the drivers, software etc and then started exploring what the multiecuscan has to offer, I soon found that I had to let the ecu know that I had replaced the lamda sensor, this was easily done with a couple of clicks.
I then ran a diagnostic scan and noticed it identified the vehicle chassis number correctly but it showed an error in recognising the ecu version, I went back and manually selected a different ecu version and on the third attempt, I found I had chosen the correct one. The scan revealed a couple of codes, both relating to dpf blocked (400% full) though I already knew this, but no further suggestions. I recalled my earlier exploration of the software where I had found that I needed to let it know that the O2 sensor had been changed, there was a long list of things that could be done here, one of them was to force a dpf regeneration, I clicked on this not expecting to be able to force it as the garage had failed, the engine burst into life, revving to 3,000 rpm which it held for about 20 minutes and lo and behold, the dpf was regenerated, I then cleated the fault codes, problem solved.
Yippee and a big thank you to Gendan Ltd for this excellent bit of kit.
My advice to anyone thinking of buying this software, dont hesitate, just do it then take your time to install it properly in the correct order, read the multiecuscan user manual (I printed it out and put it in a folder for easy reference) and reap the benefits of your purchase. I did 5 stars +++ from me.

We suffered the Fiat Ducato based motorhome airbag ecu failure. Apparently these can be provoked by a low starter battery, but ours is always on hook up and monitored so were not sure what caused it. If you have a Ducato based motorhome and you intend to do your own maintenance, you owe it to yourself to buy this diagnostic package. Ours has paid for itself on the first use. A Fiat Professional dealer will rub his hands together when faced with this common problem. Even changing the oil will require a service interval reset, and this package makes it easy. Very impressed with the initial contact, the service, and the product. A good investment.

If you have a Fiat Car this Multiecuscan softwere is a must!! And if you have any problems setting it up the guys at GENDAN are brilliant, they realy know what ther talking about.
We have got two Fiat Panda 4X4s one of them has had a flashing milage fault on it since we baugh it, aparently it had been back to Fiat but they couldant get to the botum of it.
It also had a battery draining problem, so we sent it to a loacal auto electrician who said the radio was draining it, he removed the fuse and recommended we replaced the unit & he charged us £90.00 for the pleasure!! I decided to do some YouTube fishing and found some vidios called LOVE 500 not a Panda but the faults were the same, I think its Paul who presents it, he's very good and he goes into grate detail on how to use the softweare and takes you through the proces.
By using this softwere it turns out the Blue & Me audio module was faulty causing the radio to stay on when the car goes to sleep and drains your battery after a few days.
The fix was run the softwere clear the faults and carry out a Proxi Alignment, That stopped the milage flashing. I've since been told it costs around £120.00 for an hour on the Fiat diagnostics system but don't quote me on that. So in my opinion this powerful softwere has well paid for itself and this is just a fraction of what you can do with it.

Delivery was very fast.
I got it up and running the same day it was delivered.
Its fully functional.
I found I did need some of the coloured cables if I want to look at areas other than the engine, the software tells you if you need to use a coloured cable.
I found the software easy to use, I tested it in demo mode first making sure that the laptop was connecting with the car and then I registered/activated the software.
It was quite easy to activate the software but you need to be very careful when typing/copying your hardware code/licence codes etc.
The instructions are detailed and if you follow them you cant really go wrong.
A CD is provided but they give you all the links to download the software if you dont have a CD drive. You dont need the CD if you have internet.
Cables seem to be high quality.

Firstly , the product is perfect - just as advertised. Perhaps not the cheapest but the old adage of you get what you pay for could not be more true. This is the genuine article and , thanks to it, my Ducato is now running well again.
Secondly , Gendans customer service would be hard to better. Package delivered over 400 miles next day and communication put a big smile on my face. Instructions clear and fairly easy to follow (only problem was my eyesight misreading my own hardware key - quickly sorted)
In all honesty , every aspect of this purchase could not be bettered.
Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

Tried to recommend this to my brother but not as comprehensive as first thought some models are not completely covered.
I have have a ducat 2.3 multijet my brother has a ducato 2.2 multijet . there is no option to input injector codes on the 2.2. there may be many operation that cannot be done on the 2.2, I have not tried them all but then there is no need, as he wont be buying this due to limited operations.
However the 2.3 multijet coverage seems to be great, but would urge possible buyers of this to confirm that all required scans and operations will work with your vehicle whatever the model and engine type.

What an excellent company Gendan Ltd are. I havent ever had such great service and super fast delivery thanks to DPD, I ordered the MulitiEcuscan at 2pm and it was delivered at 1pm the next day! I had one problem with setting up my computer (my fault) but customer services soon had me on track, excellent! The MulitiEcuscan works great on Windows 10 and tells me everything I need to know about our Fiat 500, it allows you to reset service lights/error codes and even if you fit a new DPF (diesel particulate filter) you can reset the ECU to accept it, with the same function for the injectors etc. You can also do a forced Regen if your DPF is blocked due to a lot of short journeys which will save £s on going to your local Fiat dealer.
The MulitiEcuscan also comes with a simulation mode which allows you to practice these functions while not connected to your cars ECU, all in all the best £114. Ive ever spent! I know where I will be returning to when we get another car and will be recommending Gendan Ltd products to all my friends.
Thanks Gendan Ltd, keep up the good work.

Excellent solid quality gear and very clear set-up instructions. Taking my time , fuel, and the dealer charge into account this was cheaper than getting the robbing b******s at fiat to clear the oil change warning light on my Doblo multijet. Ive also used it to track down an engine failure light , saving even more dosh. And if it needs another forced DPF regeneration I wont be watching another hundred notes move from my pocket to Fiat. I cant recommend this gear highly enough. Why mess about with cheap old tat from ebay? Oh yes, Im not in any sense a mechanic, just an owner with shallow pockets.

Just a quick note to express the pure delight from the Fiat ECU Scan software, In co-operation with Gendan Limited who I actually purchase my products..
I ordered my diagnostics on monday around 13:00 hours. Had a quick response from Gendan with regards to My fiat punto 1.2 8v 54 plate, who assured me all diagnostics would work with this model. They offered me free next working day delivery, (I'm always sure these never arrive in the time..) However to my excitement and surprise it turned up, via FED EX courier around 9:30 tuesday morning. I was still not 100% sure if it would actually work, however they offered me a refund if I couldnt get it to work (with some tiny T&C, ie returned as unused condition and not registered the full license of the software.)
Rest assured it did work, with some kinks with the com settings :P. I have now fully diagnosed 3 faults on my fiat, and have the equipment to keep doing this for years to come.
So Thank you if only all companies work this hard to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ive had no previous experience with these scanners or electronically controlled turbo diesels but I found the equipment very easy to set up and use. It found the fault in my Ducato based Motorhome in minutes. It also was able to check on the workings of many other parts of the engine and give visual displays in real time. A very valuable tool at a realistic price.

Bought this package to use on my 2008 Grande Punto.
It covers most of the systems on the car to at least read and clear fault codes, and the coverage seems to be improving with every update.
Fantastic value for money - costs less than a couple of code reads at a Fiat dealer!
